hello i choose this Optimised Dall-Kirkham
Orion can make me this 20", i thing it will be the first that we can see in amateur observatory.

Why : quality of optique, and 45/50 kg for this 20", better for my Paramount.

The mecanic is not like the 16" (a carbon tube) but it's a Truss carbon tube.

Delivre in September (i hoop)

:bow::bow::bow::bow:
yes, please keep us posted..
This has to be one of the finest scopes ever to be discussed in this forum(IMHO)...
The Meade 20" doesnt stand a chance against this beast..again,IMHO...
Of course, the price is astronomical too...an OBS is a must..

Congrats!!!!
If I ever win the lottery, you will see me posting about this scope as well(or the 16")!!!!
:praying:

the 2 first ODK20 is for SILA ESO, they are F/10, it's for Infra red.

My ODK is F/6.8, the macanic is similar.

Laurent,

I am surprised to see that the OTA is bright, shiny aluminum. I would have thought it would have ome anodized black. I assume you will paint it a flat black to minimized reflections.

we have a good proposal for Barry, following the application of olive reduce central obstruction, which reduces to 37% (baseline 41%) through the primary F2.1.

Another very important thing, we really emphasize the quality of their PO.
I'm really married with Starlight (I have three), I did put a 3.5 ".
but ultimately their OP is top, very simple, but effective, and we just charge it, they will try to adapt the engine on their OP Starizona Focuser for not changing my config.
