I am hoping I am just missing something. Also, apologies if this has been resolved in other forum posts. I am not very good at searching the forums ;-).

What I would like to accomplish is to have fine control over the slewing, but NOT using the StarBook itself. For example, if I use Cartes du Ciel to slew to an object, chances are that i will want to "nudge" the mount a little in order to center the object. I am currently using the ASCOM/Vixen Starbook driver to connect to the Starbook remotely, but cannot figure out a way to do this. Is there already a way? Is there other planetarium software out there that can utilize ASCOM and also allow this "nudging"? Am I nuts? The idea is to do the initial polar alignment, star alignment, and other setup outside once, then be able to do the rest of the evening's work from inside the house.

If this has already been addressed here, please post a link. If the link solves my problem, I will call Rocky Moselle and have him name a star after you ;-).

Thanks,
Steve
