Is such a "crazy" thing really feasible? I'd like to motorize my Discovery 17.5" f/5 Split-tube dob to "astrophotography standards". Of course, I don't want Losmandy precision -- I just need something where I can pick up 1 ~ 2 minute exposures.

Any successful attempts here? Any ideas?

ServoCat is the best for that, I think.
I had the Dob Driver on my 12", but it wouldn't have been good enough for more than a few seconds exposure I think. Great for visual though.
Still have the Dob Driver kit, but the Dob is long gone.
