Voyager,

An excellent observation of M104 in Virgo. This is an impressive edge on galaxy that looks impressive in a large aperture instrument. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

I took the liberty to blur the galaxy (Gaussian) then place the drawing upon a dark grey background. I hope that you like it.

You nailed the Sombrero affect here and I love your dust lane up front. Very realistic to the view through an eyepiece. Well done.

Nice sketch of M 104. A challanging object from an Urban sky. :bow: :cool:

Whats challenging from a semi suburban sky isnt seeing the galaxy but making out the dustlane which under those lousy skys just doesnt show through my 8".
