My first H-alpha Sun sketch. Coronado 60 was used.

Thanks guys.

Michael - technique here is simple - HB pencil on plain white paper, and a little finger job :) Then PS 4 for coloring, etc.
Main thing to gain such texture ( aka. granulation ) is to use cheapest paper you can get... :)

Simas,

An excellent H-alpha observation of the Sun. You have captured the solar granulation and delicate prominences very nicely. I adjusted the levels and darkened the background. I hope that you like it. Thank you sharing it with us all.
