Thanks for sharing that. I looked at it yesterday with a 70mm scope myself. Your sketch is very reminiscent.

A very nice observation of the globular cluster M13 in Hercules. This is what the cluster looks like through a moderate aperture instrument as you employed. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
