I am certain someone uses this alt az tracking device, possibly fixed to a Manfrotto tripod to track the sun effortlessly!?!

details...http://www.scsastro.co.uk/catalogue/hutech-azm-100-200-motorized-mount.htm

Personal recommendation sort. Thanks in advance. John

The mount does not track. The controller has four directional keys: up/down; left/right. And, two speeds, which are not sidereal. Think of it as hands-off alt-az. So, yes, the only effort involves pressing a key.
