Is it better to buy Astro-professional 80mm ED or SkyWatcher Evostar 80mm ED. Both of them have the same price
and they are going to be used for astrophotography.

Well, I know that Astro professional is very new brand but I will use it for autoguiding and maybe astrophotography so is it good enough to beat SkyWatcher EVOSTAR.

The Skywatcher appears to be an Orion ED-80 with an upgraded focuser, tube rings etc. The ED-80 is a proven scope for astrophotography, it is essentially color free with it's FPL-53 based doublet objective.
The Astro-Professional looks to be one of the 80mm F/7 triplets similar to some of the William Optics and Astrotech scopes. The triplet objective has advantages but in this case, since they are not advertising FPL-53, I would believe it is FPL-51, how the color correction game plays out between the two, it is hard to say.
Both are similar, I would suggest going with the vendor you are most comfortable with.

For visual, close enough is good, and glass type makes a difference in how close it's possible to get with 2 elements. For imaging, I would go with the triplet, as long as the focuser is as good as the doublet. I've seen some pretty nice images taken even with achros, but it's more work to get them nice.

think Orion434 is asking about astro professional ED80 vs skywatcher ED80... astro professional doesn`t make 80mm triplets... think AP ED80 would be bit better for astrophotography because of it`s bit shorter focal lenght.
whichever you choose you won`t be wrong. i personally have skywatcher ED80 and the views are very nice. you should search the net for pictures taken with both scopes to help you decide.
