Open cluster around blue star Delta 1 Lyrae. 1000 ly and 19 members. Visually orange Delta 2 aren't physically bounded with cluster.

Very nice sketch Simas,
I like it when people post beautiful renderings of targets that are easily passed over.
Im going to take a good look at this one next time I'm out.

Simas,

A beautiful observation of Stephenson 1 and Delta Lyrae. The cluster and colorful stars are glowing in your fine observation. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Amazing sketch! All of your work is incredibly life-like and perfectly captures the sensation of looking through an eyepiece.

Wow! My sketches look like a pre-schooler drew them compared to this.

Once again lots of care and attention to the details to get the sense of depth with the stars. Wonderful sketch.

I second that! Really accurate representation, not too showy and not understated... so accurate its a little uncanny.

Great sketch,
Always when looking at Stephenson 1, I have the impression to see a bee from the top where you can easily imagine its head and the wings. Funny.
