Many thanks to Anthony at ADM. I had purchased the smaller CGEM accessories kit and there was a small issue. He agreed to correct it immediately, no questions asked. So I went ahead & ordered from him, the final parts I needed - the drive clutch levers and knobs for the tripod legs.

Thanks Anthony my CGEM looks GREAT! Now, for dark sky .... :bawling: Here it is in the Pelican 1600:

Paul,
That looks very classy. I'm glad you did the upgrades, they add great looks and better functionality for the mount. :waytogo:

Nice lookin' CGEM. You know, the one part of the mount that drives me nuts, well the stock azimuth adjustment knobs drive me nuts also to be completely honest, is the plastic cap that covers the back end of the polar scope. That thing tends to cross thread on me very easily, and plastic on metal threads is always a recipe for disaster. That's also the one part that ADM doesn't have a replacement for.

I was thinking of asking Anthony about this piece, but then I remembered how much I spent on the other knobs! I'm sure he must have considered it at one time. I agree if you take it off it is a bear to get threaded correctly back on.

Yes, that would be great if ADM made an orange aluminum RA axis cap... another upgrade, like the others, that would be very practical. Or, maybe just an orange plastic cap that had a metal threaded insert....
