Hi
Would the Vixen Porta II Mount be ok with the William Optics FLT 98 Aluminium tube scope. WO says tube assembly is 4.7Kg. If not is there a better choice at about the same price.

TIA Tony

My FLT98 Alu with original rings is close to 8kg. I really do not know how WO got those numbers. Maybe for CF version without rings...

I don't know about the WO FLT 98 but I am satisfied with the Portamount with an TV NP-101 which I believe weighs about 11 lbs. I did upgrade it to the Hand on Optics wooden legs.
