I have an Ioptron smartstar -g series mount. I had trouble the other night after slewing to the moon. The tracking was set to land. I put it back in park position turned it off then back on. Tracking worked fine and auto set to lunar tracking. Later I slewed to Alberio. Tracking worked fine auto in celestial mode. After a short break I went back to the scope and noticed it had once again set itself to land. The break was long enough that the control had powered down - something I had never noticed it doing before. Of course Alberio was long gone and I had to realign. Is this just the nature of this beast or do I have something set wrong in the menu structure? Hope this is enough info.
