Dear all,

this is my first post on this great forum (that I follow for a long time !).

Here are some sketches made this summer in the French Alps. I used a 10 inches truss dobsonian, a 24mm Panoptic and an UHC filter.

First the crescent nebula (NGC 6888) :

Then the Lagoon (M8) :

The Eastern Veil (NGC 6992/95) :

And the Swan (M17) from last summer, with an OIII this time:

regards, and clear skies to all !

Welcome on CN Sketching Forum! This are excellent sketches. It must be fun (and really dark) to observe in the mountains. Hope to see more in the future!

Great sketches. I noticed you captured the tiny hourglass feature in M8.
