To catch the Germans; teleskop is the German word/spelling.  Since it's in Spain, and seller ships to Europe, it makes sense.

How will they operate their television ? :FarmerRon:  http://pittsburgh.cr...5077059017.html

Judging by the photos, they couldn't find any dust mites in their carpet so they're selling the scope. The second photo shows the scope's replacement sniffing at a tripod leg.

I was unaware Celestron had manufactured SCTs with 0.965" eyepieces!

C90's use 0.965 but they aren't SCT's.

Maks. Whatever. I thought Celestron used 1-1/4's in everything they made.

Celestron offered an SCT visual back in 0.965" as well.  Wasn't unusual to see one with an early C5.  I have one of those visual backs.

I love the photos people choose to introduce their products to buyers.

Check out this short tube telescope! Man, that tube's so short, I can't even see it!

This one "works well at night."

If you turn your head sideways, that is.

I lied. One more. I gotta share this one because I can't stop laughing.

http://www.ebay.com/...=item3cfcebd039

In particular, note the, um, "instructions" down the page beneath the large photos. Lemme quote here. If you can translate this, you're good:

Installation sequence:

Tripod first branch up. Then put on the lens barrel. After the fixed lens barrel, the barrel installed above the finder (used initially to find the target object), and then loaded on the eyepiece. After looking set goals, and then with a different eyepiece commissioning, note: the initial use, be sure to re patience patience patience! The possibility of very, very bad astronomy small, not to mention each telescope before we sent are strictly checked before.

And this week was next week last week!

They have had this listed before.  I like the part where it says please make a offer and then I can tell you more about it.   Reminds me of someone when she said "We have to pass it before we can see what is in it"  or something like that.

those same people look for "Chevy tires".

I really wonder about people who place ads with no information. But you can see them in every category,be it car, telescope, or whatsis.
