Great sessions out here these days.
Just love the chill in the air.

Hows it going with the rest of the local gang?

OOOOOK, Long time no post.

We started a page on Facebook named the "Columbia Gorge Astronomy Buffs", feel free to drop in and us it as a means to share photos, posts, etc
Secondly
I'll be doing a small astronomy session at Memaloose St Park on July 14th, and August 18.
Lets hope for clear skies!

Thanks,

Just an update.
Our page on facebook was changed to "Columbia gorge amateur astronomers."
We got the honor of doing a bi weekly column in "The Dalles Chronicle" newspaper in Oregon.
Will be posting Star party events on FB page, and in the paper.

Joe, I use Facebook at most as much as Brad does but I did see your note here.

I' d be willing to allow use of my property for a star party. It's a bit harder to find than the G/dale Observ. and more difficult access when found, but much better skies.

Hey folks!
It's been a while and so I've decided to update the world.
Facebook page is still running, search "Columbia Gorge Amateur Astronomers".
We are planning to host a few star parties this summer in the region.
Will update soon :)

Just another update friends.
Located in the Columbia gorge is a nice little group of astronomers that just want to keep getting the observing going and sessions happening.
We are trying and getting a club together, so far its a facebook page:
https://www.facebook...teurAstronomers
.. and an email address:
columbiagorgeama@yahoo.com
Im currently working on a light pollution problem and could use some entry level help with getting stuff going in that area.
Thanks for any advice and ideas, feel free to check out our humble page too.

Cheers
Jo

Hi Jo,

I'm in Goldendale, and helping to revive Friends Of Goldendale Observatory. We're making a push to get Goldendale and Klickitat Co to enforce and improve their LP ordinances.

You can see our web site page on LP here:

http://www.goldendal...-pollution.html

We are also looking for help with Board members, so if you or any of your friends would be interested, please PM me.

Best wishes,

Bob
