I couldn't immediately find confirmation on the Steiner webpage whether or not these have phase coatings. Does the documentation that came with them say anything about this?
I would also appreciate if you could comment on how bright they are in daylight (sunshine) conditions compared to your Bushnells. In conditions where the eye pupil is smaller than the exit pupil, this is a good (comparative) test for light transmission.

I will run them side by side with the Bushnells and let you know.
I do know that when observing the Moon the Bushnells showed greater detail. The combination of greater magnification combined with larger aperture was apparent.
