Hey All,

Does anyone know how many teeth are on the Orion SVP driven worms (RA & Dec)? I asked Orion and they don't know. :foreheadslap:
Go Figure...

Thanks,

Dave

Dave,

For Orion Skyview pro:

Worm shaft: Worm gear = 144 : 1

(tracking motor)
Worm shaft : motor gearbox output = 32 : 32

Clear Skies!

Since their EQ5 drive systems work on a CG5, the gearing will be the same.

144:1
