We had some clear days here in Germany, but the air was usually unsteady. This night I had moderate seeing and sketched Saturn. I used my 6 inch Mak at 144 which gave the clerest image. I could see less details with 187x.
The image is mirror reversed.

Uwe,

Very nice Saturn sketch.
It still surprises me a little to see a clear ring around a planet. I can still remember the first time I saw it in a telescope.

Frank :)

Uwe,

An excellent observation of Saturn. You have recorded some detail over the globe and rings. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Interesting drawing Uwe - the Cassini Division is a good catch - I had struggled to see it until last week.

Nice work as always Uwe. You raise good curiosity with the disk details - looks like you had a good night. I enjoyed cassinis in your sketch as well.

Dear observes, thank you for your comments. I was not so satisfied with that obserrvation. It took much patience to catch that detail. And I expected some more. So I still wait for more steady air.
