Due to work, I will find it hard to post any recent drawings for several months to come, so here are some recent views of the big bright one made during the first week of May.
Some nice patches of faculae were visible with an extremely large patch seen on the preceding side on the first and second of May.
Here is Sunspot 1203 and 1204.

Rutilus,

Excellent observations of the solar disk full of sunspots and plages and a detailed view of sunspot groups. I am in the same position with work. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

These sketches are great. I love the way you shade the sun with the yellow pencil to show the faculae. I also enjoyed first detailed sketch very much.

I try to count every day the sunspots, but sketching them is far more great!

Rutilus,

Fine set of drawings. I like the way you rendered the faculae in the full disk sketches. Lots of detail in your closeup of the AR's--nice job on the umbra/penumbra shading. :)
