This is the 3th brightest glob on the sky. A Southern one like the Omega Cen and Tuc 47. Located on the constelattion Pavo is not so well known as the other ones. I had never observed it before and was a very regarding session. Here is also a link to my log on this. http://nunciusaustra...-maio-2011.html

Hello nunciusaustralis,
Very nice sketch of NGC6752. I've always been a visual observer of galaxys, and since joining this forum, I've fallen in love with the globulars you all have been sketching, and I'm dieing to try sketching some....if this misserable wheather pattern ever breaks.Thankyou for inspiring me to give them a wirl.
Clearskys, and many of them,
Dave

Nuncius,

This globular is well beyond my horizon but it looks great in your sketch. Nice post.

Frank :)

Nuncius,

An excellent observation of NGC 6752. This does appear to be an interesting globular cluster. From images of this southerly globular cluster it appears to be spectacular! I hope to be able to observe it myself one day. Thank you for sharing it with us all.
