Hi. Any info on Tasco 214 7x50 binoculars? Such as when they were made, how good the optics are, if they are worth obtaining and keeping? Thanks.

If I,m not mistaken these are made in Japan with the one piece "American style" body, even though Tasco are regarded as junk older binos by them are often rather good, I have an older 8x30 which is very nice, its fair to say however that time marches on and by and large newer binos are much better, however if they are in good shape and collamated and sensibly priced, why not, Dave.

The field of view is just a bit wider than the great majority of 7X50s.
