I helped my wife make this stained glass of the Solar System. Actually she did most of the work, I just helped her pick up the glass for the planets.

Clear Skies.

Very nice work, David!

What are the dimensions? How did she do the Great Red Spot?

The windows is 18 in. x 24 in. if I recall correctly.

For the red spot, we actually drilled a hole in the glass, and slowly elongated it with a sander.

My compliments! I also work in stained glass and in the near future I have several celestial themed windows to create for the renovations of our planetarium. Very nice solar system artistry!

Very beautiful work of art, David. My compliments to both you and the wife. Here's one of my favorites I found on the web. I don't recall who I can attribute it to though.

Cheers....Eric

Congratulations to your wife, David (and you of course picking up the glass...).

It must be breathtaking to see the sunlight through this artwork!

I have made a second window, as shown in the picture. This time I was able to find some glass very suitable for Saturn's Rings.

I don't like either of them ! ..... because they are not MINE.

Other than that (being mine), they are fantastic!

Thank you. You're very skilled ... I don't do glass.
