Solar viewing with my Brass 5" f/14 Refractor Perkin-Elmer lens operating at > f/30 with a DayStar H-A. This was the first time I used this scope for this use and was rewarded with the most detailed solar viewing experience for me yet. The native f/14 lens makes this scope an ideal match for use with DayStar filters.

Allow me to ask a dumb question here......................*how* is there no mirror in the diagonal(?) - I thought they all had mirrors.............

Roger that. 20lbs. as you see it. That's about the same as the mount under my 80mm. It doesn't get much more grab'n'go. The scope is superb... excellent focuser and optics.
