A link shortly. Not in this run. We wanted to see what people thought of the design. If it sells well, then we will have 3x and 4x.

Hmmm...not crazy about the design. Maybe a better picture will sway me. But, for $20 shipped... ;)

The original Cloudy Nights T-shirt with skyline font and glow in the dark globular cluster on the back was so cool.

I agree... I prefer the original design. Are they still available in L or XL??

I think the design is fine; just not for Cloudy Nights. Perhaps a Star Trek convention or Shuttle Mission Patch. The graphics don't match what we see on Cloudy Nights or the Astronomics page so there is a disconnect for us.

I would not be keen on adjusting the Cloudy Nights logo to match the t-shirt either. :)

Well, we need to try new things and this is one of them. The original shirts won't be back at all. The design file is gone, so they are now classic.

We are trying to get younger star gazers involved. We like cool t-shirts and labels. I want people to ask, "What is that?"

People are always asking, how do we donate to CN, how can we support CN, this is a way. The $20 pays for the shirt and shipping and leaves a little to help pay for the server cost to keep CN running. I guess you can think of the shirt as a free gift for your donation of $20 if you wish.

So THAT is what it is. :jump: I'll be ordering mine soon. And thanks for CN and all the work you do to put up with us "pea-turkey" types. :applause: Sorry Uncle Rod. :wron:

<<< another interested Canuck. How much, including shipping to PEI Canada (postal code C1B 1V1). I suspect it would easily go via USPS first class international (pretty cheap).

As for the design, I love it. Totally reminiscent of the shuttle mission patches, with a great retro look. Like a classy Atari shirt :) If a younger demographic is your target group, I don't think you could have done any better.

Cheers

Hmmmm, still on the fence with this design. It kind of looks like it should read "All of your scope are belong to us" beneath the logo.

I couldn't have said it better.

Next production run, Mike should ask for submissions from graphics designers (there have to be a few on CN) and then pick one from among that group of submissions.

This one isn't that bad, really (looks a little like a Shuttle Mission patch), but neither I nor any of my friends to whom I emailed the picture would buy one (aimed a little too young, I think, though I'd buy one for a grandchild). Sorry I didn't like it, because CN needs all the promotion it can get among amateurs.

Good timing for a reprint, though. My old ones are getting quite "long in the tooth".

Mike,
How would we go about paying you for one and you NOT sending the T-shirt to us, but using it as a free door prize in your new store?

I don't care for the design.

I do like the idea of not being sent one!
