I believe now that Astronomics is in their new, very expanded building; the out of stock equip might be less of a problem.

Highpoint, Astronomics, Starizona, Skies Unlimited, B&H- all excellent and to my mind equivalent. As the sponsor of the site here, then, I favor Astronomics, but the others all have sometimes been advantageous to me also. Tim

Does High Point Scientific offer discounts/rewards program like Astronomics and Optcorp?

I've ordered all manner of things from High Point over the years. I never order "the good stuff" but I'm always treated like an important customer. I like them.

They sell stuff on both EBay and Amazon, sometimes a little cheaper than their own web site. I have had good dealings with them.

I deal with Highpoint Scientific quite a bit. In short, they are excellent. If you call them on the phone and get Dave or Grant, they are quite knowledgeable. They won't try to sell you stuff you don't need, and their recommendations are sound. They support our club with discounts on stuff we buy to give out as awards, and give the whole club a discount day. The only negative is that they have had to cut back on their showroom hours for us locals.
