I love my two year old CGEM! But it has a persistent quirk. I always put it into Hibernation at the end of a run. But upon awakening, it never shows the correct time and date. All other info is correct. Is this a failing battery or something else? All suggestions are much appreciated.

Is your RTC turned on? If so, you need to change the battery and see if that is the problem.

Michael,

Try changing the battery and see if that works. Do you know how?

Dave,

The RTC battery is located on the back side of the MC board. You remove the 4 screws holding the control panel and you will see the CR2032 battery.
