Abell 194 in Cetus

This cluster of galaxies was drawn by me 10 days ago in my Crimea vacation. Conditions were moderate: SQM-L = 21.2m/sec2. It was observed in my travel 14" 1:5 Dobson. The sketch was done by usual pensil on white paper and then processed (including inverting) in paint.net
The cluster is great - more then 10 members were fixed in 11 mm Nagler field of view. Most interesting is pair of NGC 547/545.

It must have been quite a view which you rendered nicely in your sketch.

Have to check this one out later in the fall. Thanks!

Very impressive galaxy cluster sketch. George Abell's images were not likely better than your capture here.

Beautiful sketch. Very well done. I have to try this cluster, looks very interesting for a C14.
