Since taking up nova patrolling I've been wondering where I can find out more information on nova spectra. Is there a handy paper or website I can read to find out more? Thanks.

Bruce:

Here's a few publications that may be helpful:
Williams et al 1991
Williams et al 1994.

Hi Bruce,

Try the ARAS website
http://www.astrosurf.com/aras/
particularly the publications under Novae
http://www.astrosurf...ations/bib.html
and for some amateur spectra of recent Novae
http://www.astrosurf...Novae_Aras.html

Cheers
Robin
