Two images from Jup last week taken with the 180mm Mak, TV Powermate 2,5x, I-nova ICX618ALA and Baader RGB filters. I used AS2 and Registax 6 for processing.

That's pretty darn good for a 7" scope. Nice work.

Hi James,

on this particular image the transparency was very bad (hence good seeing mostly), in the RED channel it was 25fps
With ROI on 400x400 it will be higher, like 30-40fps depending on transparancy.

The camera is OK, just like any other ICX618. The software has it's flaws, but ok it does the job. Don't forget to download the latest update (June 14) on:

ftp://ftp2.m42optic.fr/mopticq/ccd_camera/PLxCam

RED:
FileFormat=SER

www.drogenberg.be
Camera=i-Nova PLA-Mx
BeginRec=2012-10-24T05:19:20.024
EndRec=2012-10-24T05:20:15.794
ExpTime=32ms
ImageDimensions={Width=640, Height=480}
Resolution=FULL
SavedFrames=1326
ReadoutMode=8,FAST
Gain=888

In the blue channel it was 16fps at 51ms:
