Hello all,

being a variable starobserver I never really look at deepsky objects. In the past I have made some (3) sketches of DSO's and now I have made an other one. I have made it in PS with a pencil drawing made at the telescope as model.

I'm a little bit tired of doing variable stars so I expect to do some more sketches in the future. Any comments are welcome.

Telescope: 10" Orion Optics
Eyepiece: 25mm Antares
FOV: 1.5°
Filter: Lumicon UHC
SQM: 20.02
Location: Boutersem , Belgium.

Welcome back, Hubert!

The sketch looks great. :waytogo: You learn very quickly.

It might be useful to add a note about the orientation of the sketch, but otherwise, keep up the good work.

Clear skies,

Hubert,

This is a very fine capture of a bright region of the bridal veil nebula. I don't see it that well from my urban location. I always appreciate a view from a better location than my own.

Frank :)
