Had to replace the engine oil cooler on the motorhome - and the one sent was defective. I got one from a different source - arrived today - and I'll install tomorrow. I'll have to change the mounting brackets, which will be time-consuming, but if I get it done in time, I'll be there tomorrow, if not, Friday.

Based on the weather here (60 miles NE), I've not missed much - I unloaded the astrogear from the coach today.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday nights. Cloudy. :bawling:

Thursday night MIGHT be partly clear. Maybe. Perhaps.

Currently foggy and cool 60F....

Nice people, though....

Thursday night - CLOUDY.

Friday night and Saturday are predicted to be cloudy as well, making a complete set.

Ouch, Cotts! I was going to go to Chiefland but finances changed my mind. I was there in '03 and '04 when Tom Clark had it on his property. I got some nice sharp images plus some rare aurora those two years. See you at Okie-Tex 2013?

I left this morning around 10:30; by the time I got to Chiefland itself, it was totally clear!

Hear, hear, Dean!!!! Good times under gray skies! It was great to hang out with you and all the rest of the gang!

I love how people in this hobby look at a situation like this, shrug their shoulders and say, "let's have a bonfire, a couple of 'sodas' and swap some tall tales...."

Yup, I had a good time despite the clouds. Hopefully the weather will be nice for the Winter Star Party.
