Some weeks ago I bought an EQ platform for my 32 cm Dob. Now it is suited much better for moon and planets. I sketched the sunrise in Bailly. The crater is very large and it was hard to sketch all the details in the time of ~ constant light. (150x)

Uwe,

You caught Bailly right out there on the limb. It looks great in that light. Beautiful sketching with fine details.

Frank :)

Bailly is a nice crater (to sketch). When I see your sketch, the platform makes a good investement.

Excellent, Uwe. Nice crater to sketch, and you are right....the detail would take hours to get if you wanted it all.

Uwe,

Nice job. These areas on the lunar limb are really great targets. You have provided a good impression of this huge crater's appearance.

Uwe

Very nice. I'm intrigued. It would be very long to sketch a part of the moon like that ?

Andre.
