My AT Voyager head is currently mounted on some of those wooden legs from Hands on Optics.
Does anyone know how well a Sky-Watcher 100 ED would work on it, for planet viewing?

Jay,
I can't speak to the SkyWatcher (don't know what its focal ratio is) but my Voyager on Oberwerk wood tripod works wonderfully well with my Megrez 90 and Ioptron six-inch Mak.

I have a Porta II (same weight/size class) with HOO wood legs, Manny Miles mods, and an SW100ED, so that's pretty close. For low to medium powers, say up to 100x to 125x it is doable, higher than that can be...challenging. The 100ED at f/9 is a long OTA and it takes its toll on the lighter mounts. In a pinch I can put up with a bit of settle down time, YMMV.

Clear Skies,
Brian
