Well, I finally pulled the trigger. Hopefully in a few weeks, one T-Rex mount will be here. Please tell me the pain goes away after it gets here???!!! :ooo:

A big thanks to Ed over at deepspaceproducts.com. The man is a saint after putting up with my interrogation. Very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. A class act all the way.

A very tight second was the DM6 by Discmount. Tom Peters is in the same league, another class act. Came very very very close to going with the DM6. I was literally tallying up the prices and was going to get a money order cut next day That close.

The runner up was the new DSV-3 by DesertSkyAstro.com.

Followed by a new concept mount, Nova Half Hitch.

And in the beginning, all I wanted was a bit heavier tripod for my SV M2 mount for the SV80ST. Then along came a 9.25 Edge.....

As I wait, I hope to fight off the buyers remorse gremlins :)

William

From what I have read you will be very happy. Does it come with the digital setting circles?

Hi there,

I believe the basic package comes with the encoders installed. I did not get the DSC tray nor Sky Commander (yet) :). There is a package offered that has almost everything.

Sky Commander works really well with the T-Rex - quick to align and easy to use.

Thanks! I look forward to getting Sky Commander. From everything I have read it really enhances viewing.
