After reading Wes' comment to my latest high resolution image, I decided that I should be less lazy and reprocess the original image instead of just cropping a bad mosaic. Indeed, the reason why I did not post or bother processing the mosaic was that one of the pane was a ... pain ;)

So I found out that processing the original image revealed a potential that I had overlooked in the first processing that was limited by the dead weight of the bad image!

So, to make a long story almost short, this processing isn't affected by the noisy area in the upper right corner (as correctly pointed out by the eagle-eyed Wes) and is less flat as I added a little more micro-contrast (blessed PS curves!).

Hope you like it more than the previous: I do

The posted image is only 70% size and 50% quality. Full size and quality here: http://www.amun-ra.o...012_Ha019_1.jpg

An already fantastic image is even better now, I like your improvements.
As I'm sure you well know I was not criticizing your image but just simply pointing out something you may have missed I always appreciate it when people do the same for me.

Dear Wes, no reason to point that out! I know the spirit that moved you and I appreciated your suggestion (frankly that noise had escaped my scrutiny) and I will always appreciate comments that help me improve in all the things I do. That is the way I am.

So, sincerely, thanks for pointing that out :waytogo:
