After e-mailing and Skyping Dave Tyler and Damian Peach for years they finally
came over for a visit and I was able to meet them in person. They stayed a week
and we had great fun eating, shooting, just hanging out and, of course imaging.
We had a couple nights of good seeing. I let Damian and Dave do most of the
imaging. I will upload Damian's first two images, which he processed after getting
back to the UK, using my AP 10" F/14.6 Maksutov FYI.

XLNT colour and detail ! I guess you're either no wiser or not likely to reveal DP's processing techniques ;)

Pretty stunning, Jim. Check out the detail on the "boring" side. Wow.

Wonderful! I had Chris Go stop by in the spring and I know I left much wiser. Next time, we corner them all together and stuff them full of BBQ! :)

I am definitely no wiser. No processing was done on this side of the pond. Just imaging. And, I can say, Damian images just like the rest of us. His magic is in his processing and I know no more than anyone else about it. He has sent more images to me and I am amazed! Of course, I have forwarded them to Roland Christen to show him just what his scope is capable of doing. The seeing is very good where I live on occasion and we had pretty good seeing at times. Here is a Blue channel taken by Damian, just FYI.

Amazing! Convincing proof of the benefits of derotation. But even more an image to remember. Thanks for sharing!
