Hi.

Yesterday was a star party at my local club. A special event and a concourse. During daytime the weather was pretty good and quite stable atmosphere. I've been able to caught 4 sketches while some peoples watching me drawing. The first sketch was very complex to reproduce. Lot of filaments and complex structure. I don't claim this one is 100% accurate. And we had the chance to see a 20 minutes flare on the 4th sketch. A couple of people have been able to see it.

Oh, during the concourse, I wont the 1st price for 'finesse du détail' what I would translate as 'attention to detail'

Once again, all have been VERY impressed to look at the Lunt LS152. This scope is a real dream for several peoples.

Enjoy.

Andre.

Thanks Andy.

Here four pics someone took at the special event while I was drawing the first sketch before the crowd get in. Live on the field...

Someone said on another french forum that she was very impressed by the fact I can draw with my right eye on the eyepiece and using the left one to draw. She was also impressed on how fast I draw my sketches...

Andre.

Andrev, nice series of images portraying an artist at work. Your detail on the sun is just amazing.

Andre,

Great work! The huge bridge prom in the SW seems gone now looking at Gong photos. It was imaged by many in b/w, colour and video and your rendition equals the best in any media.

André, that is a darn good set of sketches, my friend! And finally we can see the artist live at work. So you do not use a shield on your telescope. You have all my admiration!

Thank you to all. Very appreciated and refreshing.

Jean. No shield. Only my old hat... Since I draw keeping my eye most of the time at the eyepiece, I keep my dark adaptation. I can now draw using only one eye.

Mel. I posted on a french forum the sequence of this prom.

Andre,

The sequence of the huge prom collapse over an hour and a half is absolutely stunning. What a catch! Thank you for the link.
