I finally got a chance to try out my camera at a darker site, so this is my first try at a LRGB image. I have a lot more to learn about processing, but I think it's already better than what I was able to get with a DSLR with similar exposure time. Thanks for looking, and comments/critique are welcome.

Scope: Orion 80ED
Camera: SBIG ST-8300M
Filters: Astrodon LRGB
Luminance: 10 subs x 10min, binned 1x1
RGB: 6 subs x 5min each, binned 2x2

Very good color, you could improve on controlling the star size. Overall is a very nice image

very pretty image
great job on the reflection component and color

perhaps less saturation in the dim regions--getting a green halo around the lower right star

Nice work Mike. I too was impressed with how much more CCD pull in than DSLR.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. Nicola, I definitely need to learn how to keep the brighter stars under control.
