does Tak still make binos or are they long gone leaving it to the clones?

as far as I know, they only may the Tak Astronomer 22x60
which now sales, when available, for 2X the new price

miyauchi made a 22x60 also-but they never seemed to take off

the 15 or 16x70s proved much more popular by nikon, fuji, or clones

Ya know, you could build a Tak "Franken" bino out of the 60mm scopes?!?! :thinking:

They come up on astromart and the like very occasionally, but seem to be getting less common. Owners rave about them so the prices tend to stay firm when they do appear.
