Here is a sketch that was done over the course of 3 nights.I had a heck of a time trying to get the geometry right.There are many faint h2 regions as well as start clouds.I was able to capture a few of them. :D

Striking John! I think it is one of the best I've seen of M33.

Hi John, that’s a terrific sketch of M33! I’ve found it to be a real challenge to sketch as well but the more I’ve worked on my sketch the more I like it, plus I see more each time I observe M33. Using multiple observing sessions to sketch a large and/or detailed object is a great way to see everything your scope and sky is capable of showing.

I sketched M33 a whila ago and it was nowhere near as good as this.

Superb illustration, John! I've never considered spending multiple nights on a single object. But for DSOs that obviously don't move (not really, anyway) it makes perfect sense to do so. Thanks.

That's a great sketch of M33. I wish I was able to see as much of the galaxy as this and to render it in such an excellent fashion.
