Hi,

I took this with a Canon60D, a Mak 5'' and a 2x Barlow. I stacked 100 photos using PtGUI to align and PS to stack the frames.

Luis,

Wonderful! Nice detail.

Luis,

Since it is too cold to go outside, I will be coming back to your photo for a "viewing session," tomorrow night.

Thank you for your kind comments!

I really like photographing the Moon, it's something I can do from my light polluted backyard and I'm always surprised by something!

Cheers!

That is really SHARP! What scope did you use? Is this a prime focus shot with a DSLR?

Thanks!

Yes, actually it is the average of 100 shots at prime focus with a DSLR.

The scope is a Mak-Cass 5'' and I used a 2x barlow.

With good seeing not a problem with bad seeing you can go manually through the frames to discard the ones that are blurry.
