Hey Snowboy . . . ,
I found a used Denkmeier S1 - it's a permanent fixture on my CPC1100.
One eyepiece and I get 3 different views - based upon these focal lengths:
w/ reducer = appx 1764 mm w/ a 23 mm EP = 77x
normal setting = 2800 mm w/ a 23 mm EP = 122x
@ barlow setting = 5600 mm w/ a 23 mm EP = 244x

Change EP's and get a whole different set to powers . . . pretty neat!!

Before you buy anything - check the used market! The Denk Powerswitches
are really the best!

Regards,
Bob

Dear Bob regarding the denkmeier I just order it and they'll ship it to the uk? Is it the short version or the regular? Silver coatings ? I don't think I'll find a second hand one here in the uk but will have a look. If you see one anywhere online do let me know.. Will it work ok on the CPC'S with my WO binos? Many thanks for the info... Snowboy

SCT or EdgeHD optics?

for SCT the Celestron f/6.3 for a flatter field
for EdgeHD the Astro-physics CCDT67 for a large clear aperture.
