Well, it is OK as far as it goes, but it is far from comprehensive. In my neck of the woods, it missed three planetariums and several observatories, which out here is somewhat significant, as there are very few of those facilities in our area. Sky and Telescope has a nice search engine that for a given state will list all the planetariums, Observatories, and Astronomy Clubs nearby. Clear skies to you.

Agreed David but it is a new and DIY effort. Did you enter in your local observatories/planetariums that were not listed?

Thanks Carol, that is a fun thread... Lots of great photos. That said, I think there is something about a map based list, if it is kept current, that is much easier to use.
