Hi.

Finally a nice sunny day. The 1st and 5th sketch depict the same prom evolution. There is a lot of sunspots on the surface, its so pretty.

After verification, I can confirm you with my 3" scope at 85X, I can't see the very thin filament under the floating prom on the 5th sketch. Its much too small.

It's interesting to note the progression of that prom over a 3 hour period. Terrific illustrations as always, Andre.

Andre, I am looking for words to describe your work. I'll be back when I find some.

My gosh, man, you have a talent for sketching the sun. One can tell you love your subject by the care and effort you put into your art. Well done, very well done. I really appreciate the way you bring out the fine detail in the sun's surface.

I love the planets, and I am wondering if I put sufficient effort into my sketches to match that love...as you do.
