My first sketch in almost 2 years. Ive sketched this before. I wanted to wade in on a target I know well. I forgot how much fun sketching observations is.Thanks to all you fine people for inspiring me.

Jim, I am not much into clusters, but looking at that beauty I can understand their appeal. It's a nice one, well done, too. (Of course, never having seen it, I have to trust you got all the star positions spot on. :) ) Cheers.

Very fine capture of this open cluster. Just like the eyepiece view.

Jim - very good observation of this cluster( in Austria named ET Cluster)

Fine sketch. You can not only ET (or Wall-E) in it, some call it the owl-cluster too.

Wow, Jim, dynamite star placement there! This is an excellent cluster sketch. I have to agree that sketching brings such an added dimension of enjoyment to observations. Looking forward to more from you. :cool:

Actually, Jim has quite a few nice sketches posted in the sketching section way down the forum list. Was browsing them. Very nice ones.

Wow, you sketched my favorite ET cluster. Exactly as is. Very nice.

Next, do NGC 7160 or NGC 7235, two other nice ones.
