I took this pic with a Nikon Coolpix 3300 in afocal mode and a 10" Meade ACF.

Very nice! Being very interested in fiddling afocal (and probably buying a Coolpix soon for fun experiments, I've been pricing them in the stores, I'm hoping to get one cheap during this holiday season) I'm curious if anyone could comment on what they think might cause the (very minor) linear vertical remnants (camera chip, processing software, noise?)

Great going on that image!

Thanks Jason. Still not anywhere near your image quality but it is fun trying!
