I can't believe this has been under my nose all this time and I didn't know it!
I like to say that I enjoyed school so much that I made it a career. So, I've been working the last twelve years at a university.
Recently, someone pointed me to a particular Telescope Making article by Gary Seronik. Well, I went looking in my personal library of S&T, only to find that I had misplaced that particular issue!
So, credit card in hand, I thought this might just be it....the moment in which I break down and buy the complete S&T collection on DVD.
However, I paused. I knew my local public library did not carry S&T, but I realized that in 12 years, I never actually checked to see if the very university at which I worked had it. So I went online and browsed the catalog, expecting at best to confirm that they had it and plan to drive up there today.
To my surprise, not only do they carry it, they have every article from January 1994 to the present PDFed! I just entered my university login credentials, and in seconds I had the wisdom of Gary on my computer.
I still can't believe I never thought to do this.
Don't forget your university...
