What looked like a good night for imaging only had brief moments of good seeing. Caught this image when things were somewhat settled. Was hoping the seeing would be good when Io made it's transit but not to be. Thanks for looking.

Frank,

That's what I saw. I got decent but not great images. Seemed like for every 2 good frames that came through, 1 bad one was there too. You got a very, very nice image.

I'm still picking thru my videos. It was like Paul said, some good ones to keep us at it, sprinkled with some real junk. Tomorrow night (Saturday) looks promising. But, you got a far better result than my data is giving me. Nice image. Still worth the effort.

Lovely image Frank! Your colors are great, you've got the art nailed down. Yes seeing was dodgy at times that night. Last night was much better but it did'nt last long.

Both shots look great Frank! Io and its shadow came out nice and round.

Thank you Trevor!I guess we can only do the best with what our seeing allows us and be very satisfied when it cooperates! Just wish it would happen more often.

Good stuff Frank you got a couple of solid images there, and looks like some Io detail...
