hi all,

the Seeing was poor, so the sketch is not so detailed.
The shadow came from moon Europa. The GRS left the disk at the right side.

Christian,

Even though the seeing was not the best the drawing of what you captured looks just fine.

Christian, the sketch is fine and, importantly, your were out there to observe it. That's what matters most.

Chritian.

Good sketch of Jupiter. Does Jupiter is upside down compare to the other sketches ?

Christian,

Great sketch of Jupiter. Lots of detail even under poor conditions. I like the detail you sketched in the SEB. The festoons in the EQZ connected to the NEBs border is done well.

Thanks for posting. Dean

Wow, loads of Jupiter sketches this past week. This is a good observatiion despite the poor seeing. Apparently, the turbulence following the GRS is so prominent that it's hard not to see whatever the conditions.
