Orion Focal Reducer Test

I received the focal reducer today and it is clear enough to test. I'm interested to see how it compares to other focal reducers. The image was taken with my Orion ED80 and Atik 314L+ using a Baader Ha filter. The full image is 600 sec pointed at Deneb.

Doesn't look too bad. I'm considering getting one for my Skywatcher
ED80. Thanks for doing the test and posting your results.

Just to be sure this is the one you tested....

Hi Robert. That is the one. I tested it with the Atik 314L+ which has a smaller sensor than a DSLR.

Thanks, I use a DSLR but I think that I'll ask Santa for one. Maybe if I've been good who knows!!
